Worse than Chernobyl?

It's now known that a great many more people, perhaps up to one million, died from the Chernobyl accident than has been reported - and that this number has been kept studiously hidden from the world by the nuclear industry working in cooperation with the Soviet and then Russian government and the international mainstream media. Fukushima's reactors were powered by an even more dangerous plutonium/uranium mix and is in a much more densely packed region than Chernobyl; and like the former Soviets, the Japanese government has stonewalled and issued contradictory statements regarding the nature and extent of the danger posed to the Japanese people.
