Six... Six... Six....

"666" is an unusual number. A “triangular number”. A “doubly triangular” number at that! Likewise, the Star of David/Remphan is a double triangle. With six points, six sides, six triangles.

"Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man."

The "number of a man"? Perhaps "Israel"? Or "David"?

And "the beast... which was, is not now, but shall be again”? A reincarnate Babylon? Perhaps Israel?

Then we have this: “A woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: 'Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.'

“And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.”

In Biblical prophesies Israel was often likened to a harlot. And of course, in the Bible “beasts” are famously used as metaphors for kingdoms.

So, a resurrected, yet whorish and perverse Israel… a Synagogue of Satan... riding atop an enormous beast/government... a latter day Babylon… that hates and persecutes Christians?

Looking around, it doesn’t seem improbable.
