To Catch a Jew - The Jeffrey Sokol Story

Some here no doubt remember the NBC series, To Catch a Predator - starring Chris Hansen. Probably the most infamous predator the show ever outed was a 44 year old guy named Jeff (Pizza Planet) Sokol, who drove 160 miles from Boston to hook up with someone he thought was a thirteen year old girl.

Sokol had been chatting it up with an online decoy for a few weeks before showing up at her supposed home - carrying pizza, orange juice, and vodka.

Sokol's breathtakingly smug egoism set the bar very high indeed for all the smug, egoistical Jews who followed him into the trap - though none ever really got close.

Sokol spent a couple of years in court (where he tried to argue the Cialis he brought to the assignation was actually a pill he took for IBS) before finally getting sentenced to over seven years. But he only served around 30 months.

Upon his release Sokol had to register as a sex offender. And in a by now familiar tactic, tried to change his name... to "Sonny Derek Porter". But this request was denied by the court.
