The Lie of "Anne Frank"

At one time even I accepted the Anne Frank story as being true: hate crazed Germans hunting every corner of the Reich for Jews to kill - in often grotesque ways. Fortunately for the Jews it never seemed to occur to the Germans to look for them in latrines (see Citizenfitz - The Twelve Stages of a Holocaust Tale). Thus millions of them have managed to survive down to this very day. Then it was learned that Anne's diary was written with a ballpoint pen - but these weren't commercially available until the late 1940's....

The following is from Vincent Lewis' excellent site, "Smarter Than Thou" in which he analyzes the reasons and motives behind political appearances.

"ANNE Frank was, allegedly, a member of a Jewish family who hid from the Nazis in Holland. During the last days of World War II, according to the myth, they were discovered, arrested and transported to concentration camps. There, with one exception, they all died (of diseases!). Later Anne’s hidden diary was discovered, published and made into at least two movies, one of them very good.

"There are a lot of credibility problems with the story. The premise is that the Nazis wanted to exterminate all the Jews. (re)Consider the circumstances. The German army was losing the war. It was in horrible condition. The Allied invasion force was gaining more land every day. Every single German troop was needed, and desperately so! And the German command decided to waste irreplaceable human, material and intelligence resources on… hunting down harmless Jews. In other words, they intentionally worked on losing the war, and having their homeland invaded, their wives raped, their children killed, and their homes burned. Huh?"
